- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When choosing a web hosting provider, cheapest is not always best. Remember: you get what you pay for. That said, web hosting is a very common service and is somewhat of a commodity, so you shouldn't pay an arm and a leg either. If you're paying several hundred dollars per month, then chances are, you're getting ripped off.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
You should ask the following questions about any potential web hosting provider: - Do you provide an uptime guarantee? - Are your Authoritative DNS Servers geographically redundant? - Do you take off-site backups? - Is your network & server infrastructure Highly Available?
