I had water in my home and contacted IRS through Thumbtack. They sent Eli who responded right away. He kept me informed throughout the project. They also work with your insurance company if it is a covered insurance loss. I highly recommend this company to anyone who has damage in their home. I have had a lot of trouble in the past with contractors but IRS made me have restored faith.
The guys were extremely nice and knowledgeable. They explained what I needed and didn’t try to overcharge me. I felt very comfortable with their professional advice and I would recommend them to anyone.

I could not be more impressed with IRS! My grandmother’s house had water damage from the washing machine supply line busting. She had over an inch of water on the main floor of her house! My grandmother is 94 years old and has never had this happen. She called me to see what to do. Side note… My husband and I live in Brooklyn, NY, while she is in Memphis, TN. I was devastated I couldn’t be there to help my sweet grandmother. I started searching online for a company to take care of this problem and found IRS. Do not let the name fool you, Eli was at her house within the hour and walked my grandmother through filing an insurance claim, explaining how every step of the process works. Eli not only helped put my grandmother at ease but also went out of his way to keep me updated on the project as well! Now her home is back to normal and we can both sleep at night! I can’t say enough good things about IRS and Eli.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
In our line of work it is difficult to give an accurate quote over the phone, email, and text. We recommend an onsite inspection to determine the proper scope of work so that we can give our customer an accurate quote. Our inspections are free for any of the services we offer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With new customers we like to gather basic contact info and details of the project they are inquiring about. Once that is established we dispatch right away for emergency floods or set up an appointment for inspection for non emergencies. Once the inspection is complete we can go over the scope of work we recommend thoroughly with the customer so they know the project scope forward and backwards. Customers can also expect excellent communication before, during, and after project is complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a combined experience of 20 years. We also have an employee that worked for and with insurance companies for 15 years. We have multiple IICRC certifications for our industry.
