I'm a retired veteran with 31 years of active duty. I spent 11 1/2 years in the Marines and 19 in the Army. I am very disciplined and take pride in my work. My work stand out from others because I don't use a point and shoot camera. I use a Canon EOS 7D (18 megapixel) and EOS 5DSR (50.6 megapixel) with a 50mm, 60mm, 85mm, 28-135mm and a 10-22 mm wide angle lens to get the best photos.
I'm retired so I'm very flexible on time. I use Dropbox to send my pictures digitally, I normally have them to my customer within 24 hours after the shoot.
I have taken pictures for XPO Logistics, FedEx, Air B&B and Homeland Security. I also took Real Estate pictures for Crye Leike Realtors and made the front page in the spring of 2015.
The reason I like my job is because, I like to bring homes and buildings to life. I can give the client the best view of the biggest investment they will make in their life. The best view is good quality pictures that are not photo shopped.
I enjoying portrait photography because I get to photograph people in their natural setting and watch the expression on their face when they see the pictures.

Awesome real estate photographer!!! I listed my home for sale and Mr. Jones took my pictures. My home sold in 30 days!! He took his time and made sure that the lighting and the angle of every room was perfect in each picture. He exceeded my expectations and made sure that he represented my home at its best. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I want my customers to know that I am not in this for the money. I am in it for the "Art". I enjoy taking pictures, its very relaxing.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I normally ask the customer what type of photos they want. I ask them about a focal point. I may ask them what would they like to see when someone is looking at their pictures.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm self taught, I have being taking pictures since I was 17. My first camera was a Yashica Electro 35.
