FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Customers should know that my pricing is straightforward and based on the time, materials, and level of work required for each project. I charge a standard hourly rate for service calls, and for larger projects I provide detailed written estimates so there are no surprises. I also make sure to explain what’s included—both labor and materials—so customers understand exactly what they’re paying for. My goal is to be transparent and fair while delivering quality work that lasts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process for working with a new customer starts with a conversation to understand their needs and goals for the project. From there, I’ll usually schedule a time to look at the work in person so I can give an accurate estimate. I explain the options available, go over pricing, and answer any questions to make sure the customer feels comfortable with the plan. Once everything is agreed on, I set a schedule, complete the work, and keep the customer updated throughout the process. After the job is done, I like to follow up to make sure they’re satisfied and everything is working the way it should.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed journeyman electrician, and I’ve built my skills through a combination of formal training and hands-on experience. I’ve continued learning on the job to stay up to date with electrical codes, safety standards, and new technologies like LED lighting and smart home systems. My mix of classroom knowledge, real-world experience, and journeyman-level expertise allows me to handle everything from small repairs to larger projects with confidence and professionalism.
