- How did you get started doing this type of work?
This story is actually very interesting. I'm a really big gamer and with that being said, a very years ago I started using this app called Twitch. Twitch is a website and app that gamers' can use to broadcast themselves live playing video games, which also gives their audience a chance to engage with them. Streamers (or broadcasters) have overlays on their stream that provides their audience with their social media accounts, their recent donations, and many others to showcase on their live feed. Many of my friends at the time started streaming themselves and I wanted to help them look more professional, as well as help give them their own personality apart from everyone else.. so I downloaded Gimp and Photoshop and began to work my magic for their own overlays. I caught myself wanting to do this more than even playing games. Somewhere along the line of doing this for fun, I fell in love with it. I loved making designs but I loved even more being able to help my friends and other streamers have their own brand identity. After about a year went by, I finally enrolled into Independence University and was beyond excited and ready to start my dream of being able to help other brands find their own unique identity. This isn't just a job for me, It's a passion. A passion to want to see other's succeed.
