I rarely write reviews, but when I had to move a few weeks ago, Manny's Movers did such an excellent and professional job that I must acknowledge their service. My husband and I recently bought a house and needed to move all our stuff out of storage into our house. My husband works out of town so I had to handle finding movers and the moving, which was a first for me because he usually handles everything. I called at least five companies i found on Google and got either outrageous prices w add-on fees, or spoke to completely unprofessional so-called "movers." I decided to look on Craigslist and Manny's Movers was the first listing so I called (at 9pm) and after speaking w manny for two minutes, I knew my move would go smoothly. On moving day, Manny and his partner arrived early at the storage unit to meet me, and I liked them as soon as we met. They worked fast and efficiently getting our stuff on the truck, followed me across town to our house, and started unloading and moving into our house in amazing time but also taking excellent care of our things. As they were moving our stuff into the house, I talked w them and got to know them and a little bit about their lives. They grew up in NYC (which is where I spent the last 8 years!) and they are Univ of Memphis grads .., absolutely fantastic guys working hard to build up a good business for themselves. I'm a young female and was alone and couldn't have felt safer w these guys. I even left for 45 minutes to get us lunch because I knew my home and our belongings would be perfectly safe w these guys. The whole move took about 4 hours and my husband was thrilled when he heard how much it cost...he thought it would be double! I really can't say enough about Manny's Movers ...I will use them for any and every move in the future. Highly highly recommended!

THESE GUYS ARE A BLESSING...I MEAN THEY WERE RIGHT ON TIME. DEPENDABLE RESPECTFUL YOUNG MEN.. THE PRICE IS REASONABLE AND ATTITUDE IS HUMBLE...I WILL MOST DEFINITELY USE THESE GUYS AGAIN....THANKS AGAIN GUYS MAY GOD BLESS U BOTH..KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK....

Single female no truck...needed help moving a kitchen set from one house to another and really didn't want to impose on friends to do it. Called me the same day I messaged, called today to confirm, arrived on time, very courteous, quick and even assembled the table for me. Will definitely use again. Next time Macy's wants $100 to deliver furniture...I'll take my $75 to Manny. Can't beat the price or the service.

Two persons came 15 minutes early and completed the work quickly. Generally they are careful with the loading and unloading. One of four piece of the bed frame got a minor cracker, which is why I rated Good. I thought if I told them earlier about the fragile frame, they could avoid that. Generally Good service and will consider their service in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No my pricing system is very simple. 2 men and a 16ft. truck starts off at $75.00 an hour. And 2 men and a 26ft. truck starts off at $95.00 an hour. If you just need labor help 2 men start off at $60.00 an hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I am currently getting my MBA in Finance and I have a degree in entrepreneurship as well. I plan to use this knowledge to help my business grow and thrive. My goal is to have it where customers on more expensive moves have the option of financing their move if needed.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got into this particular line of work when I was in college. I needed a little extra money while in school but I never expected it to be what I like to do for a living. It is a great job that keeps you in shape that I truly enjoy.
