Introduction: As a baker, I know how important it is for my clients to have great tasting treats as well as a great presentation. I stand out from other bakers because of the time it takes to create an unforgettable experience when eating treats from The Sweet Joy Bakery. I don't rush because I want to hurry to another event. If I have to loose sleep to insure my customers are satisfied, that's what I will do! :-) There isn't anything I like about my job as a baker. I LOVE every moment of it! I love to get in my kitchen and create a sensational treat that will make a lasting impression on my clients. I love to hear the mixer mending the ingredients together. I love the smell of the cinnamon I use to bake my apple pies from scratch! I LOVE TO BAKE!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently one of the Sous Chef's for D.Arthur's Catering. I am working closely with Chef Keena of Memphis who is AMAZING at both cooking and baking.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been a cook and found great JOY in it! Last year I needed to make some extra cash for my trip to Vegas, and I decided to sell cakes. Let's just say it grew from there. People began to request more and I began to better myself as a brand and began networking with other chefs in the Memphis area.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I made cupcakes for my niece's 2nd birthday party. It was my first time and everyone was amazed at my work.
