FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Fees are based on size of house and what all is needing to be done. A deep cleaning is a more detailed, thorough cleaning and includes things like baseboards, windows/window sills, light fixtures, doors/door frames, cabinets, etc and therefore the rates are a bit higher than they would be for a standard cleaning. Extras include appliances, interior windows and other special requests made by the customer and are agreed upon and charged accordingly. Please note that bids are based on project description and if there are any changes or discrepancies in what was initially discussed, the rate is subject to change.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10 years of professional cleaning experience and have worked in both commercial and residential settings. For the past 2 years, I have worked as an independent contractor providing make ready cleaning services for a high end property management company. With such high standards and expectations, I feel like I have received invaluable training and experience which has allowed me the confidence to venture out on my own and start to grow my own business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was little, my mom worked at several different resorts and vacation rental type places and I would often go with her to help. She would always have me help with the housekeeping and cleaning and I think it always just kind of stayed with me. I am also super organized and a bit of a neat freak and a perfectionist when it comes to cleanliness, so i feel that my job fits my personality.
