I love connecting with my clients and building relationships. My main focus is listening to the customer's vision, their wants, and their needs. These three things must be right to have satisfied customers. I am very easy to get along with and never meet a stranger. I never quit until you are 100% satisfied. I return all phone calls, emails, and correspondence immediately. I have the latest technology to give you a product you will cherish for a lifetime. I do not charge for time, and after the shoot is complete your photos will be available to view in 24/48 hours. We were coming to Nashville from out of state for a family reunion and wanted a family portrait. I had a lot of uncertainty and questions, especially since I did not know the area or anyone to give me a personal recommendation, yikes, what was I thinking.... But, I tracked Michael down thru Thumbtack. He responded promptly to all my questions and was "over the top" accommodating with our choice of date, time and he was the one who suggested a fabulous venue. From the first phone call he made me feel that we were in "good hands" and we were. Michael's personality was a great match for my family and he managed all their different personalities, plus he made sure I got the special requested poses we had talked about... he made sure I got a preview of the shots on his camera before we left to make sure we were on the same page and was there another pose I wanted.... We got some great pictures!! I would highly recommend him to anyone!! Donna

Michael did a phenomenal job on our engagement photos! We had to come up with a rainy day plan with only a week’s notice, and he had fantastic suggestions. What’s more is that he had our gallery available for view (unedited) at 7am the next morning! He asked me to pick the ones I wanted for editing and retouching, but what was amazing was how good the photos were, as was. He perfectly captured the relationship between my fiancé and me, and I’ve already re-booked him to do our wedding photos as well. Additionally, he was just a delight to work with. I couldn’t have found a better photographer if I had tried.

Michael has great vision. He is patient, kind and very funny. He listened very closely to what we wanted out of the photo shoot and made it happen. He was very diligent in finding that perfect shot. Our butterflies disappeared almost immediately. It was as if it was just my fiance and I spending the day at the park. We did our thing and he was able to capture those moments. I am not big on posed photos, they seem fake and unnatural. Michael gave us those natural perfect moments only you and your significant other know about.

I'm from California and was heading out to Nashville for vacation + to propose to my girlfriend (now fiancé). After a ton of hours researching and looking for the perfect photographer, I'm so happy I came across Michael. When I reached out, he was very quick to respond, very professional, reasonable pricing, super nice guy in person and on time at the set destination.
Since Michael and I didn't officially meet until after the proposal, I actually snapped a pic of my fiancé and I that day so he knew what we were wearing and who to look out for.
He was so good at capturing our special day. He caught the proposal just perfectly and then we snapped a bunch of pics afterwards. Did I mention he's quick? He had all of our pictures up on his website within a couple hours (end of day) and told us we could choose any/all photos to be edited. Given the extensive research that I did, that's very uncommon. Most photographers allow you to choose maybe 6 photos. Anyways, we chose a bunch of pics and he had them all edited within the same day!
Such an exciting experience and hands down I suggest having Michael help capture every little detail on camera!

This was an awesome experience. Michael came to my location, after agreeing to the job on short notice. He was professional and well equipped. He even researched my particular needs the night before. The preliminary pictures were great. This is the photographer you want.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have standard pricing, but typically I customize my pricing to meet the needs and wants of the customer. I do discuss pricing up front with my clients so they know what they are facing and what they are getting for their money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The main ingredient in working with a new customer is building that initial relationship, understanding their needs, and expectations. Once those key elements are established know their vision of the finished product and clearly define the plan for how you will accomplish their vision with your finished product.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a photographer for over 30 years. My education begin in the film era and migrated to the digital era in 2004. A majority of my education and training has been through self study by reading and watching other established photographers. For formal training I was mentored for two years in Europe by a Masters level photographer, who taught as a leading establishment in Germany.
