FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A general idea can be given with a first quote, but there are a lot of variables to consider and discover during the communication process on Thumbtack. These variables include the size of the home, how many people live there, how many bedrooms and bathrooms, how much furniture, how many nik naks, what type of floors, how many windows, what type window coverings, are bed linens to be changed, laundry done, dishes washed, how many ceiling fans and light fixtures, how many light switches and outlets, is there crown molding, are there chair rails, and what type cleaning agents are requested. After communicating about these things, the quote should be fairly accurate, and the final quote, after viewing the home, should be pretty close. Honest communication is the key to a fair and reasonable quote. The same goes for a commercial cleaning quote. Communicate as much information about your office or facility. An accurate quote is achieved through a thorough and complete description of the place to be cleaned.
