I offer dog boarding at my home. I have space dedicated to dog care, providing a comfortable home atmosphere with a guest room and indoor play area for dogs. Three fenced-in yards of varying sizes depending on the needs of each individual dog. With a lot of enrichment games and activities, including an agility course, there is always something to keep dogs busy and happy. I have a passion for customer service and an overwhelming love for animals. Experienced in reactive, senior, post-surgical and general animal care. Special needs and puppy care available. Arrived each day at approximately the same time (our cats like a routine) and took care of them in superb fashion. We can tell if the pet sitter has spent time with our cats or not....they were not overly "clingy" (meaning someone has interacted with them) as in the past. Additionally, litter boxes and surrounding area very clean, extra dry food available (supplements daily wet food) and fresh water bowl full. Very, very pleased. Julie knows her "stuff" and will engage her services frequently. Could not have been more pleased. Her hand written welcome home note to us exemplifies her willingness to go above and beyond. She is world class! Totally satisfied and most pleased.

Julie did an excellent job caring for my two cats while we were away. Her response time for the meet and great was very quick and she was very professional. My cats warmed up to her pretty quickly. One cat required daily medication which she gladly administered. Both cats were content and calm when we returned. I will definitely use her again. Thank you Julie.

Julie took the time to get to know my dog and ensure that he was comfortable with her. She made several trips to get him accustomed to her before walking him solo. She is punctual and always keeps me informed after her visits.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do my best to keep my rates competitive and affordable.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I schedule a free consult call so we can talk and make sure that I would be the right person for the job. If I am the right person, a new client application is emailed and an account created. After that, services can be requested and confirmed. Once confirmed, a 50% deposit is made to secure the dates that services are needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I grew up with animals and have been volunteering since a young age at animal shelters and rescues. I started rescuing animals myself in 1999. I spent over 20 years in the healthcare field and while in nursing school I would attend animal surgeries with our personal veterinarian whenever I was able to. I have had my own rescues with behavior and anxiety issues that I have worked with to recover from trauma and go on to live happy full lives. I have also had my own pets with sensory issues such as vision and hearing loss and rehabilitated my own dachshund after a spine injury that left him partially paralyzed.
