Hello! My name is Tara and I am the owner of Snowbound Home Interiors! My company was started when I lost my full time job as an event planner due to COVID, but boy am I glad I did! I decided to turn my passion into a business and help others in my community make their house a home! Since July business has taken off, to keep up with demand my honey Mike has been able to join the company full time and we are now able to tackle larger projects! We specialize in many different interior home renovation projects like shiplap, sliding barn doors, brick walls, wallpaper, board and batten accent walls, and so much more! My goal is to help you complete those Instagram and Pinterest projects in your home without you ever having to lift a finger! I pride myself on finding the least expensive way of doing things while still making your space look like a million bucks! Call me the DIY queen, after 10+ years of perfecting my skills I can help make your DIY dreams come true too! The best part about our company is we can help you design and envision the space and also complete the work for you - a one stop shop! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Depending on the project I charge separately for design services, for actual materials and sourcing of them, and for the labor and installation of said project. I am very flexible and customize my pricing for each client! Right now I am offering $50 off any project of $1,000 or more!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to come to your house for a consultation, I get a good idea of what you’re looking for, then I will head back to my office and create a few vision or mood boards to present my ideas, followed by an outlined estimate of services per project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I went to school for Hospitality and was a corporate event planner for years until pursuing my dreams full time! As for home renovations, I am self taught! Lots of learning from others, practice, and repetition!
