Introduction: EVERYTHING is on paper when you deal with our company so that there can be no mistakes or discrepancies. Our employees follow a work order that is the same as the contract that is signed by the customer and myself, the owner of the company. Part of that contract is our guarantee of the customers satisfaction, meaning that we will do whatever it takes to be sure that our customers are 100% happy with the final product.
Also, we will never leave the customer waiting or wondering. We return calls, emails or texts within a day and can always do our best to schedule in rush jobs. After meeting, our customers get a detailed bid emailed to them quite often the same day for rush jobs and no more then 4-5 days during our busy season.
I love meeting new people and being a part of transforming our customers homes and or businesses!

Shawna was very professional and organized. When she went out to paint 2 rooms, she took the time to make it look great. Needless to say, the landlord of the property was extremely picky and she agreed to go back out to the home with no question. I will be using her again!

THE JOB: The project was to paint the entire interior of our home so we could list it for sale as quickly as possible. Of the five bids we received, Affordable Painters' bid was second lowest, but very close to the other two mid-range bids we received. (We felt the very lowest and very highest bids were unrealistic, so they were not chosen.) We chose Affordable Painters because my wife really clicked with Shawna and, judging from their past work, we were convinced they would do a quality job on time and on budget.
PLUS: The painters were professional and personable. They worked efficiently, cleanly, and quietly. They cleaned up behind themselves as they went, so the house was as undisturbed as possible throughout the job. The job cost exactly what the estimate said it would. The painters' work was satisfactory-to-very good, and Shawna came in behind them before final payment and fixed any necessary touch-ups we pointed out.
MINUS: Our initial meeting indicated that a group of 3-4 painters would be working on our house. We thought such would be the case for the duration of our job. As it turned out, we had one painter most of the time; he was joined by another painter for two days (with two no-show days by the second painter in between). When we pointed out that the deadline was looming, and the carpet layers would be there the next day, three painters showed up on the final day and knocked it out. So they did finish on time, but we had a lot of anxiety about the adequacy of the crew until that heroic final day. Also, we felt Shawna could have been more helpful with our choice of paint color. She essentially said, "choose something in this color palette (light earth tones tinged with gray, which is apparently this year's hot color), and you'll be fine." Now that the color is on the wall, it reads bluish-gray, far less beige than we imagined. In retrospect, we would have appreciated more consulting on color selection, including swatching several color samples on the wall so we could see what they looked like in the light.
OVERALL: We are happy with the job that was done, and feel we got commensurate value for the money. We would choose Affordable Painters LLC again, especially having learned some lessons about putting colors on your wall before making a final selection, and certain details to put in the contract regarding who is responsible for trim and molding touch-up.

My wife and i used Affordable painters to paint the brick exterior of our home last fall. We struggled with taking this step because once you paint it there is no turning back! Shawna and her team made us feel comfortable with the process, guaranteed our satisfaction and delivered on the promise. I wish we had met them earlier. The house looks great!
