Introduction: I will never make you look like a completely different person with caked-on makeup that takes hours to remove. I only want to emphasize your natural beauty. Don't get me wrong, am all for getting all "glammed-up", but I'm also all for you looking like YOU. I also include a customized skin care section in our makeup session. I have experience with nearly any skin type, tone, and age from young to mature skin. I love helping individuals see how beautiful they really are. I just want to bring the inner beauty that you posess and bring it to the surface. The scripture behind my business is from 1 Peter 3:3-4, "Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in Gods sight." I believe that our worth and beauty is from God, who created us in His beautiful and perfect image. Makeup is wonderful to only emphasize the beauty we already have through Him.

Courtney has done my hair and make up for several occasions. Weddings, holidays, a night on the town and most recently she did my hair and make up for a play I was in. I had to have a 40's look and she did a wonderful job. The great thing about Courtney is she explains what she is doing and she teaches as she goes so you can recreate the look. She also will change anything you are not happy with. She truly wants you to feel good about the look she creates for you.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked in retail for 6 years before I was able to work for Sephora. I have always been interested in makeup and skin care (especially coming from a beauty pageant background), but it wasn't until after graduating from college that I had the opportunity to work full time in the cosmetic and skincare industry. While working at Sephora, I was certified in skincare, makeup, fragrance, and Custom Makeup Applications (a $50 service), and express services (free 10 minute services of skin care or makeup). I left Sephora to work from home.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings, prom, and homecoming are the three top events that I am asked to do.
