My initial need was to have custom curtains made for my scenario of windows stacking high in a 2-story open area. In Mr. King's initial consultation, he recommended more changes than simply replacing the curtains. On his second consultation, he presented changes for not only the curtains but a radical change to the aged entertainment console and the overall paint theme of the main areas of the house. Though painting a 2-story open area was beyond his services, he planned and implemented a great alternative to my aging, yet expensive entertainment center. It took a few weeks of family repainting the entire living area, and a few repeat visits for Mr. King and his team to install the wall-mounted shelves and the AMAZING new curtains and shears, with Roman shades for the other windows in the open area. But we all got it done. Mr. King and his team were especially easy to work with. This was my first experience with a decorator. I am blessed to have been able to afford this opportunity (not saying that the price wasn't reasonable. I felt I got exactly what I paid for). I was not disappointed. I plan on recalling B. King next year for a revamp of our master bedroom.

Barry has done a few projects for me as well as for friends I have referred him to. His sewing skills and ability to render are really excellent. I knew what I wanted going on in a curtain project and he took my ideas and polished them a bit. He met the deadlines he imposed on himself and the work is perfect. Tall room, HEAVY curtains that are actually functional. The hardware he installed will survive a tornado I am more than sure. He will help you whether you have a keen design eye and need someone to facilitate your vision, and he can also help you from square one if you are someone who needs guidance and design help.
