Introduction: We are a small company, so we have the opportunity to interact with our customers on a one on one basis. This allows us to get a feel for exactly what our customers are looking for. Another advantage our company has is that one of the owners is always onsite for the entire project. I love building a relationship with the customer. My grandfather taught me that to run a successful business you have to have "the old country store philosophy". This simply means that I want to treat the customer the way I would want to be treated if the roles were reversed.

Rodney is great. He went above and beyond on our project. He and his coworkers had to deal with less than ideal conditions due to huge amounts of rain we’ve had lately. The work is 90% complete and he will come back to smooth all the dirt out after it’s dried up a good bit more. I should also mention that he hauled away a broken up septic tank that a previous excavation contractor had buried and he did so for no additional charge. I would 100% recommend this company time anyone needing excavation and grading work done.

Before selecting Property Enhancements, I obtained bids from 2 other companies. With each contractor we discussed how my retaining wall would be built, how excess material would be removed and other details. I am not the expert but always do my homework. I was very impressed with the technique Rodney outlined and some basic inspections of my soil/drainage/erosion potential that no one else did. You know the old expression "you get what you pay for"....well, I was delighted when Rodney's bid was significantly lower than the others. Both of the other companies were charging thousands to rent equipment to do the work. The wall is nearly complete. It looks great, I watched them level every block. Rodney operates his equipment moving material like a surgeon. No gauges in your concrete when he is working. So a definite 5 stars for quality of their work...5 stars for their competitive bid and I wish I could give them 10 stars for their friendly and personable nature. I am happy to recommend them for whatever landscaping job you have.

Our experience with Property Enhancements, LLC has been outstanding. Rodney Burris is very knowledgeable, easy to work with, amenable to new ideas and always open to questions. His clients' satisfaction is a top priority for him and we are more than satisfied with his results! We are already planning on another outdoor project and look forward to working with Rodney again -- he will be the only person we hire for landscaping projects from this point on! OUR PROJECT: Water control- Construction of two stone/block retaining walls with cap, grading, river rock and catch basin with drainage. We accept debit and credit cards as well as personal or business checks.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I personally meet with the customer to get an idea of what they have in mind. Then we can work together to make sure the customer knows exactly what's going on with their project at all times. Good communication with our customers is the key. Because ultimately, it's my job to give the customer exactly what they are looking for. And the best way to do that is to listen to them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had the privilege to work with my grandfather and uncle in landscaping since I was a young boy. Hands on experience goes a long way, but this is a constantly changing industry. I believe in the importance of continued education. The more we know about our industry the better prepared we are to help our customers.
