Introduction: I have completed training with the Mayron Cole Music Conservatory, Inc. and have taught this method for 10 years. This method provides students with a classical piano education, emphasizing staff-note reading, rhythm counting, and sight-reading, with no short cuts or gimmicks. The Mayron Cole Piano Method teaches beginners through advanced pianists to read music and accompany other musicians which leads to a lifetime of enjoying playing the piano. Teaching this method is fun for the children, and adults and fun for me. We play ensemble, we play solo and we play games to learn. I know that my students are prepared to play in the school band, will be playing for church and will enjoy the journey of accomplishment.

Not everyone who plays piano can teach. Look for someone with some teaching certification and experience with children, or someone who has experience teaching adults, if you are an adult. Ask for references.
