Stephen was phenomenal with his service. He was extremely professional and prompt in all service areas. I knew what it would cost before he ever started on my clean up. My pool was horrible and required a lot of hard work to drain, clean and restore it yo working order. The techs were as knowledgeable as Stephen and helped me understand each and aspect of what they were doing and why. I will not use any service for my pool but Shangri-La pools and Stephen. I am using them every week and I couldn’t be more pleased.

As new pool owners we have a lot to learn about proper upkeep. The water level had lowered due to evaporation so after adding water back the chlorine levels were severely diluted and our water turned science experiment green. I submitted requests to two providers and Stephen of Shangri-La Pools was the only provider who answered. He came by the same day (a Friday) to take a look and added some phosphorus and algae remover, flushed our pump, and showed me how to use some of the pools controls. He said the products he added would start to clear the water up over the weekend and he’d be back Monday to finish up. Stephen messaged me this morning (Monday) to let me know he was in his way and got right to work when he arrived. He finished cleaning the pool and getting our chlorine levels in check. It’s still clearing out, but already it looks 100x better than it did on Friday. The before picture is before the water turned full on Ghostbusters ectoplasm green but this is when it was well on its way. Unfortunately I didn’t take any photos of the water in its full Ghostbusters glory. The after photo is just 15 minutes or so after Stephen left. Stephen is very responsive, answers questions, and provides suggestions for proper pool maintenance. I definitely recommend his services.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All prices are estimates. Clean-ups start at $250(clear water) Residential weekly service costs $90(Shelby County) and does not include Chlorine but does include other chemicals. Bi-weekly service is available for $150/visit and does NOT include chemicals. Close/winterize pool starts at $250(clear water) and does NOT include a cover. Open/summerize pool starts at $250 and does NOT include a clean-up. A light cleaning can be expected. We are unable to offer drain and pressure wash services.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we need to see the pool and equipment, then we can give you a final price. Expect multiple visits for clean-ups and a minimum of $250
