I try to attend a new teaching class every other year and I visit with and mirror peer instructors often.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I love teaching all skill levels and I am passionate about helping people.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Most of my beginner clients are looking for a good base of instruction so that they can enjoy the game more with their golfing spouses or friends. They typically will take up to 3 series of 6 lessons to get "golf ready." My advanced golfers are typically taking advantage of my expertise in fitting and teaching technology to provide solutions to specific problems or to give them across the board improvements knocking 5-10 strokes off of their averages. This includes use of slow motion video, computerized teaching and club fitting along with the use of the Zelocity launch monitor to provide a specific diagnosis and a lesson plan to help them reach their goals. Examples: -Perfecting Driver fitting to add 30+ yards to tee shots -Tuning a set of clubs to allow them to perform better with a students natural swing for immediate results without major swing changes.
