Mike was easy to work with. I needed work done in n my deck: boards replaced, railings fixed, and painting. The job went well in spite of a major rain delay and the lumber list provided to us by the carpenter was wrong. Mike was on hand to correct the mistake and the lumber company took back the wood and refunded me the money. He did go above and beyond to keep the job on track. The deck looks nice. His crew was very good. They also repaired a couple of rotten pieces on the basement door which was primed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is not complicated. We look at the job and quote the price, labor and paint.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Certainly. I am always reading about coatings and their success rate. Because I am old school, I do not trust new technologies. Too many have failed in my time. I do recommend Consumer Reports.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started looking for a summer job in November of 1988 while I was in college ... early planning led to vast knowledge of the coating business.
