Introduction: This is a ministry first and foremost. Couples who reach out to Jesse on Thumbtack often do so because they don't yet have a church home and the purpose of Jesse's ministry here is to connect couples with churches; counseling them biblically through what marriage is and following-through to help them join a church through their wedding. Jesse is a corporately published author and an internationally traveled event speaker - having spoken in 7 countries. He is a teaching pastor with degrees in music performance from the Florida State University (B.M. 2007) and in divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div. 2012). Jesse's doctorate in Expository Preaching from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary is anticipated 2019. Jesse overflows with passion for marriage and weddings. His marriage advice comes straight from the Bible and is illustrated with stories told about his own family. Jesse and his wife Jessi live in Nashville with their rambunctious boys. Most of the stories Jesse tells come from his own shortcomings as a husband and father, or from the utterly insane fun that comes from a big house full of Campbell boys ages 6 and under.

Jesse did a great job as our officiant. He asked us before the ceremony what our focus was as an engaged couple and if there were any particular passages we wanted read for our wedding. He researched our choices and had everything prepared before he arrived. He even provided a special document that allowed all of our vendors to see the plan for the ceremony before time. Jesse was so enthusiastic about our ceremony and about the commitment of our marriage. He was born to be a pastor. That is for sure! 😊 We were so grateful to have found him and had him as part of our special day and we wish him well in all of his endeavors.

It was absolutely amazing and wonderful. this is definitely one person everybody needs to have at their wedding. I am still hearing from the ones who came to the wedding how great and what a amazing man he was and where did you find him. very professional and very well liked by all. I do not think my day would have went as smoothly as it did through the ceremony without him. thank you is not enough to say how great of a job this man done.

Jesse was a blessing in many ways. He married us last night and not only officiated beautifully, but also calmed my fears and made our ceremony flawless, intimate and fun at the same time. He knows how to anticipate problems and make your ceremony just what you envisioned. A faith-based ceremony was important to me and he delivered one that was also personal. FAQs

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Everything is covered in this price. My other stipulation is that you promise me you will join a church together on the Sunday after your honeymoon at the latest!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We set up a phone call and go from there! I arrange a Google Doc for your ceremony plan that is yours to keep and use even if we learn that we don't agree on the Bible. For premarital counseling (which is arranged separately,) we meet twice at a coffee shop and then a final time at my house for dinner with my family. These three sessions averaging 1.5 hours in length each comprise my premarital counseling process. We start with a Genesis-to-Revelation overview of how marriage itself started in Eden and then culminates in Revelation 21. Then, after learning more about you, I send you home with some homework and some published curriculum. You're going to feel like a seminary student! We then zoom-in on Jesus' first miracle and Paul's teachings about marriage in Ephesians 5. All of these teachings influence the ceremony. So, when are together at the altar, the ceremony comes from our shared personal encounter with what the Bible teaches. The gospel is shared through your ceremony and, hopefully, people are saved!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My Doctorate of Ministry is anticipated 2019. I earned my Master of Divinity degree from New Orleans and my Bachelor's degree is from F.S.U. I am a licensed and ordained pastor. I have over 10 years' experience in full-time ministry and have officiated several weddings.
