- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? For family law and civil law cases, I have an hourly rate, which requires a retainer up front. For criminal cases, I typically charge a flat fee. I am always will to work something out.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I will talk to a potential client on the phone or in person, but I will almost always have someone come into my office in Nashville for a more detailed discussion after the initial discussion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Prior to working at Freeman and Fuson, I worked as a lawyer for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Service for almost nine years. As the Regional General Counsel and Supervising Attorney in Nashville, I litigated child abuse, child neglect, severe child abuse, child sexual abuse, and termination of parental rights matters. Most recently, I was the Special Advisor to the Deputy Commissioner and Director of Community Partnerships for the Office of Child Safety.
