Danny Whitson is a professional Magician, Stand-up Comedian, and Actor from Oak Ridge, TN with a passion for magic, comedy, and meeting new faces with every show. For the past 20 years Danny has been entertaining people with cards, coins, ropes, and anything else he can make disappear or crack a joke about. He has performed for celebrities, super bowl champions, and Grammy award winning artists. Danny has even starred with Kevin McDonald from the hit comedy sketch show Kids In The Hall. He also performs regularly at Harrah’s Casinos and for companies such as Bush’s Baked Bean’s, Dunkin, Lincoln Financial, Waste Connections, Alcon Vision, and AllMeds. You can catch Danny in the winter of 2026 on Amazon Prime in the Comedy movie Gig Workers. He has been featured on Itunes, Spotify, Mental Floss, the Chive, and Blank News Magazine as Knoxville’s Magician. In 2015, Danny helped break and set a new record for the Guinness World Record for the longest comedy show.

We had Danny perform his magic tricks here at the Country Club for one of our Easter events and he knocked it out of the park! Our guests loved him! You could hear laughter from across the building from the parents and children during his performance and he was very flexible with the audience! We will definitely have him return for another family event!

We had Danny Whitson perform at my daughter’s 10th birthday, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I only had a few days to find someone, and he was incredibly responsive answering all of my questions quickly and professionally, which immediately put me at ease. The day of the party was… chaotic (a house full of 4th graders is basically a zoo), but he handled it with so much patience and humor. He kept the kids engaged, laughing, and involved the entire time. That is not easy with this age group, and he made it look effortless. The magic tricks were genuinely impressive, and I loved how many kids were included and brought into the show. He also interacted with the adults, which made it fun for everyone not just the kids watching from the sidelines. Entertaining 10-year-olds is no small feat, and he absolutely nailed it. It was the perfect way to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and I would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a fun, professional, and stress-free party experience.

I hired Danny for a private event for a small group of friends and we really did have the time of our lives. Danny was so funny and entertaining, he brought the whole group in and we were so immersed in his show the entire time. I would highly recommend hiring him he really knows how to work the room and I’m sure would make it fun for all age groups!

Danny was invited to do walk around magic for a Christmas party of about 180 people. He was performed during a break with a band for the entire group. He was amazing, funny and engaging to everyone. All I kept hearing was how good he was. I highly recommend Danny and you won’t be disappointed.
