Hello! My name is Skylar, and I am a makeup artists based in Nashville, TN. I specialize in beauty, special effects, and body painting. I graduated from Academy Of Makeup Arts in 2022 and have been pursuing makeup full time since then. I’ve worked with multiple clients and companies doing films, music videos, photoshoots and more. Skylar was fantastic!! She really listened to what I wanted and took care to check in as she was working to ensure her work was heading in the right direction. When everything was done, she took the time to ensure every detail was just as I wanted, and made even the slightest adjustment to ensure I was happy with the result. The result was everything I had hoped for and more - I felt so beautiful the entire night! In addition to Skylar's amazing craft, she is also a joy to converse with. I can’t say enough amazing things about Skylar. She’s an insanely talented makeup artist who has done my makeup for everything from red carpet events and school fundraiser dinners to family pictures and my all time favorite Halloween look. She has such a gift for creating any style -whether it’s a natural “barely there” glow, timeless classic beauty, or bold, creative artistry like Day of the Dead. What sets Skylar apart is not just her skill, but her kindness and warmth. She makes the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. She’s even done Halloween makeup on my 9-year -old son (who thought it was the coolest thing ever) and on my husband (who normally hates having his face touched) and both of them loved her. That says it all! Skylar is truly a gifted artist and a wonderful person!
