- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The act that I perform has been honed through years of performances and rehearsals. Lots of trial and error, experience and study have helped me produce a show that leaves audiences amazed and energized! I quote each performance based on variables such as the size of the audience, location, ages, venue, nature of the event etc.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The normal transaction for birthday and small party shows is to simply gather the details needed and collect payment upon arrival the day of the show. The standard process for larger more complex events is a confirmation via a digital performance agreement and 50% deposit. The remainder of which is payed upon arrival.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
While attending college, I would spend my breaks at the mall. This particular mall had a magic kiosk. I was consumed by magic tricks. The thrill of seeing the guy behind the counter perform simple yet bewildering magic tricks kept me intrigued. The thrill has never left. Now that I'm a professional magician, I replaced that thrill with watching other people get lost in the wonder.
