Matt and his team are awesome. I hired Matt to complete a four seasons room and deck where my previous contractor could not complete the project. Matt stepped in and corrected some code violations as well as redesigned portions of the room. His eye, designs, and vision is definitely like no other contractor I have ever dealt with before. I highly recommend Matt and his team for all your projects. I have not seen anything he cannot do yet!

My experience with DueSouthDesign was watching a leader (Matt) delegate tasks with precision, to best suit each employee. Matt and his team bring a higher level of perspective to the custom work they create and design, that other contractors do not provide as a service. They are all trained to use Smart Technology as a part of their services. I’ve seen Matt pull out drones to give his customers footage of roof pitches, porticos, multi-level decks, property fences, etc. There are always 2-3 GoPros running to provide timelapse footage of ‘live’ works in progress. As a customer, it is exciting to see the progress that is accomplished daily!! It keeps you in the loop, and aware of the status of your custom design or job. Also, I would like to add something I witnessed as a strong Team Leader. Matt truly cares about his team by providing canopy’s for shade, coolers full of waters & fruit, provides lunches off-site, and encourages breaks. That is not a requirement to provide, but he knows if he takes care of his team, they will have the stamina to take care of the job, properly.

I prefer to speak to the customer and consider their needs and specifics of the job before an estimate is given so a more efficient estimate can be worked up.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First an on-site estimate going over details and needs of the customer
A detailed written estimate with example, photos, and services and installation description provided within three days
Upon acceptance of initial proposal and formal quote will be created and included with designs schematics, and a fully detailed outline of the process, including terms, pricing timing, #Warranty
Upon approval of formal quote, a deposit re-secured for materials, and I’m installation date scheduled
The remainder of the balance is to Bpay typically when the project is complete

20 years experience in custom remodeling and finish carpentry/contractor work
