Would highly recommend Solis Remodeling. They did a beautiful job on the tile work and also hired them to redo the hardwood on a staircase. Did a fantastic job on both at a fair price.

Solis Remodeling did a great job on the installation of our kitchen backsplash. Very friendly, detailed, great value, and could take care of the job next day. Would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a great remodeling company in Middle Tennessee.

Luis Solis of Solis Construction did a fantastic job removing my old fiberglass shower unit, then installing the required wood framing and drywall to prepare the shower enclosure to be tiled perfectly! As you can see by the photos we used Travertine which in this case was a very detailed and intricate design and Luis did and outstanding job taking the necessary time to align each tile and accent trim to look absolutely perfect and professional and did a great job! They also were very flexible when I wanted to make changes to the original design to add overhead lighting and a glass slide track door and they did a great job from beginning to end of project at a very, very reasonable price! I would highly recommend Silos Construction to come out and give you a quote on your tile project or any other project you have in mind as they do great work and get it done quickly and professionally! I would not hesitate to recommend Luis Silos and his family business to anyone considering any home improvement project and also his bid came in well under any other bids I received from larger contracting companies in some cases thousands less and he did an amazing job!!!
I am very, very pleased with the work he did and the completed project! You can trust Luis Silos to do a great job for you too and you will consider him your friend when the project is completed! Great job Luis! I am very pleased to write this review for you!! You earned it!!!

Several weeks after Luis & Oscar installed a very expensive Wedi shower/waterproofing system (which Luis said he was familiar with - clearly not the case), we began noticing water on our basement floor and couldn't figure out what was causing it. We opened up the ceiling to discover MAJOR water leaking from our shower drain.
I immediately called Luis (on a Thursday) and told him what was going on. He promised to come take care of it on Saturday or Sunday at the latest. I called him again on Saturday afternoon to confirm he was coming Sunday morning (which by this time, I had removed tile from the drain and discovered that Luis/Oscar had literally comprised the shower pan by accidentally cutting into and then just covering up their mistake). Luis promised he would be over on Sunday morning. Then Sunday afternoon. Then Sunday night.
By, 8:30PM on Sunday night, he took my call and said he would be over in an hour, making it 9:30PM on a Sunday night. I told him I did not want him coming over to work on our master bedroom shower at 9:30 at night. Instead, I told him I would be willing to settle our losses if he paid me the $915 that would ONLY cover costs of new tile and Wedi shower pan/supplies. That would NOT cover the cost of labor ($2,000 - $4,800 based on quotes which - 3 weeks LATER - we are still collecting).
Bottom-line: You get what you pay for? Please know that if anything goes wrong on your project, Luis will not back-up his work and will not follow-through. In addition, you are hiring a tiler/contractor who does average work AT BEST.
Luis & Oscar's mistake (that they deliberately covered up) has cost us weeks of inconvenience and thousands of dollars.
Luis: you are better than this.
