FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have two pricing options. Flat Rates - Almost all of the projects I do will be quoted before the projects begin at a flat rate. I prefer this because it's hard to keep track of time - being a Graphic Designer means that I sell my ideas for a living! Ideas have no timeline. Rates for my most commonly-requested projects are listed on the pricing page of my website. Hourly - Hourly rates are reserved for screen share sessions. During a screen share session, the client and I hash out ideas together. There is usually no work done on my end before or after the session, so the hourly rate applies to the length of the call, giving all control to the client to decide how much time they'd like to spend one each project. The deal-sweetener here is that I work very quickly!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the project, I may have an initial phone consultation, or I may send a questionnaire. Sometimes I'll have a customer put together a Pinterest board for inspiration. Each project begins with an initial 50% payment.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I did go to school for graphic design, but my best training came from working with hundreds of companies across an entire spectrum of industries.
