Heather did a phenomenal job on ad design and layout for a magazine project of mine. Not only is her work amazing, but working with her is such a joy. She has a great attitude, is completely reliable and always comes through above and beyond what's expected! And even though we live hundreds of miles apart, communication could not have been better throughout the entire project. I recommend Heather highly!

I had a special photo that my wife and I wanted to use as the photo in our Christmas card. The problem was that I'm not a great photographer - my wife and I looked pretty good in the photo, but the background was pretty ugly. I put up a wanted ad on Thumbtack, and Heather had the most professional response and best background of any of the people I heard from. I'm really glad I went with her. She made my photo look great - so great that we did indeed use it as our 2010 Christmas photo! Thanks a million Heather.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing starts at $30 for banner ads and small projects, $75 for poster and flyer design, logos range from $200-$500 and book covers and interior layout start at $150. I offer special pricing and pro-bono work for non-profits, but I work with all of my clients, so don't be afraid to tell me your budget. I'll work with you! :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I love to learn and I am always learning something new (daily) to keep up with the trends and what's hot! :)
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out in Fine Art. Originally, I just figured that Graphic Design was the closest I could get to Fine Art and have a somewhat steady income, so that's what I went for and I have never regretted that decision! I am able to do both and that's what I have always wanted! :)
