Make sure that the scope of work you are shopping is portrayed accurately. Many times - and through no fault of their own - customers will seek quotes for a job, but are not aware of/armed with the in-the-trenches, drill-down, nitty-gritty of exactly what it will take to successfully and efficiently complete the work. A good service provider will ask a myriad of questions in order to assess, so as to make sure that everyone is clear about what is at hand, etc.
