We will definitely be calling SkyHawk Protective Services the next time we need a securityguard. Their response time was quick, very punctual the day of event. The securityguard accessed the venue, asked how we would like to see him service the area and made a few very good recommendations that we hadn’t thought of. He was very friendly and even stayed until all the guests left which was longer than we had originally asked. All around this was a very positive experience!

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my career in this field as a correctional officer with the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, where I gained firsthand experience in inmate supervision, conflict de-escalation, and maintaining safety in high-risk environments. I later served in the U.S. Marine Corps, which further strengthened my discipline, situational awareness, and leadership skills. After transitioning to the private sector, I continued building experience in security and protective services, which ultimately led me to establish and grow my own security company, applying both public-sector and military best practices to deliver professional, reliable services.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent project I’m particularly proud of involved stabilizing a high-risk multifamily property that was experiencing recurring criminal activity and safety concerns. We implemented a structured security plan that included dedicated on-site coverage, mobile patrols, detailed reporting, and close coordination with property management and local law enforcement. From initial assessment to full operational deployment, the project took approximately 30 days, with measurable improvements in safety, incident reduction, and overall resident confidence within the first few weeks of service.
