- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes. I am a certified Professional Sitter. I must continue to learn and earn credits to retain my certification. We have a annual conference thru Pet Sitters International and this year which gives us all kinds of education on all pet related subjects. I also, read and learn from my clients and other professionals.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have taken care of animals my whole life and have many of my own. Reached the age of 50 and decided I needed to have a job I liked. I did my research and set up a business plan. Best thing I ever did.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We do everything.....from taking care of people's homes while they are away, taking care of the dog/cat household, small hobby farms, birds (we love birds), exotic pets are great. We live in a rural area, so anything goes............
