- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a $100 service fee, with added fees to travel outside of Andrews, County. I can offer a 20% discount for first time customers, and a 10% senior discount as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I introduce myself and let the customer explain the issue or project they have in mind, and then begin the process of figuring out how to accomplish their goal or begin the troubleshooting process to fix their issue. I explain my thought process and prior experience along the way and use the situation as a learning opportunity for all parties. I enjoy showing customers the root cause of an issue and figuring out complex problems, and I have no issue with being watched while I work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in electrical and appliance repair for the past twelve years, from an appliance store while in high school to an electrical company that I stayed with for ten years once I had graduated. I passed my Journeyman License exam on my first attempt and my Master License exam on my second attempt - with a 90% correct rate on the calculations portion.
