FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Base Rates and Packages: My pricing starts at $150 for a basic one-hour portrait session, which includes 10 edited images. For weddings, packages start at $1,200 for up to 8 hours of coverage, including a custom album. Discounts and Offers: I offer a 10% discount for referrals and returning customers. Additionally, seasonal discounts may apply during certain times of the year. Additional Fees: Travel fees apply for locations beyond a 50-mile radius. Extensive photo editing and rush delivery services may incur extra charges. Payment Terms: A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due one week before the session. I accept credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. Cancellation Policy: Please notify me at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule to avoid a $50 fee. Usage Rights: Delivered images are for personal use, and I appreciate credit when sharing on social media.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial Consultation: We start with a conversation to understand your needs, vision, and expectations. This can be done via phone, email, or in-person. Booking and Agreement: Once details are agreed upon, I provide a contract outlining the scope of work, pricing, and terms. A deposit is required to confirm the booking. Planning and Preparation: We discuss details like locations, wardrobe, and any specific shots you want. I provide guidance and tips to ensure the session goes smoothly. The Photo Session: On the day of the shoot, I aim to create a relaxed environment to capture natural and authentic moments. Post-Processing: After the session, I carefully select and edit the best images. This process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the project's scope. Delivery: Edited images are delivered via an online gallery or USB drive, depending on your preference.
