Amor Ranch

Amor Ranch teaches english, jumping, western and Cowboy Dressage. Students learn to halter the horse, leading, ground work, how to tie up a horse, grooming, saddling, bridling and of course riding. Jumping, Cowboy Dressage and trail riding. Our barn starts students a bit differently than most riding lesson barns. We prefer to start children on a bareback pad. That way they learn how to balance correctly and learn to feel the horse. Some children will start on a saddle. We do what is best for each student. Adults start on a saddle and can choose to try a bareback pad if they feel confident enough. Most do. Balance and movement with the horse is what riding is all about and riders can feel that easier when riding on a bareback pad. Students making progress and accomplishing their goals is what it is all about. That goal made, can put me on a high like nothing else. I get so excited for my students when they accomplish something with a horse that was so hard for them for so long. Slow and steady wins the race! Students can choose to compete if they want to. Western or english. Students can choose to learn to jump if they like. The first lesson is always a private unless 2 or 3 start together. We want to get to know you one on one. Some students need private lessons for a while before they ride with a group of 2 or 3 riders. Amor Ranch provides what is best for each students learning ability.
