    I hoped to find a professional trainer that could help a 62 yr old get in shape regardless of old injuries, arthritis and a lot of apprehension. I was lucky enough to meet Becky and soon my life started turning around. She listened to my objectives and continues to listen to my body every moment of our work out to better obtain those objectives. I am excited to say after two months of training, I am physically and mentally in a new place! It doesn't hurt that she is a joy to be around and a true inspiration! So glad I found her!!!

    Choosing Becky as my girls' personal trainer has proven to be an extremely valuable investment in their future as athletes. The girls are not only eager to attend her training sessions; they are equally eager to complete Becky's 'homework' assignments outside of the formal training sessions.     The past 2 months with Becky have been phenomenal! She pushes me to my limit, while being encouraging and uplifting. She makes you feel empowered through every workout. Not only have I seen results, but I found a love and appreciation for fitness I never thought I would have- I truly believe I owe a huge portion of that to her! She is always willing to be flexible with schedule if you know ahead of time of a conflict, and she's very quick to get back to your calls or texts throughout the week. I am always happy to see her each workout and feel like I gained a friend and mentor, not just a trainer! :)

    My daughter and I have not finished yet. Becky is a blessing. She is a professional and very sensitive to my challenges while providing solutions or modifying an aspect of training so that it is still beneficial for me. She checks on our progress and encourages us during the week. Becky is extremely dedicated. One day life happened but she was committed to fulfilling our session as scheduled in spite of the circumstances. Becky even arranged for her awesome husband, Mike to stand in for her.     Becky is AWESOME!
    Ive been with Becky for a little over two months now and I am so glad I decided to make this 6 month commitment! I feel so much stronger than I was and I can already see a huge difference in my body (which is crazy to me because it's only been two months)! She is always so encouraging, positive, and willing to work with my schedule, which I really appreciate. She also always makes an effort to focus on me, to make sure I do everything correctly (and not all trainers do this). I appreciate her friendship and dedication to my personal health and fitness goals. I definitely recommend training with her, it will change your life!

    Ever since I started training with Becky, I have seen a HUGE difference in the way my body looks, and I feel great! I have had multiple knee injuries/surgeries, and she never tries to push me past my limit. She has been a great help on my road to recovery, and she truly gives you the results you want!!!!

    Becky is AWESOME! She has worked around my busy work schedule and been so accommodating. Not only has she given me strength inside the gym but she has also helped me build my confidence all around. I had knee surgery in August and Becky's extensive knowledge has helped me rehabilitate it almost 100%! Her workouts are challenging but so fun and you definitely see results. If you are looking for a great training coach, motivator and someone who truly cares about her clients then Becky is the one to hire!

    As a 49 year old out of shape former male college athlete, I needed a trainer who underatood how to tap into my athletic abilities and instincts. From the first day of working with her, I was able to push past preconceived physical limitations.     Great experience!
    If you're considering a trainer, don't pick anyone other than Becky! She's super motivating and really cares about her clients-which is hard to come by in trainers. I was only able to train with Becky for a short time due to an unexpected move across the country, but every session was great and she worked with my crazy schedule! I wish I was able to train with her longer or just take her with me! Becky is an awesome trainer and you won't regret hiring her :)

    If you are reading this review then you are already taking a very important first step in hiring Becky! Do it—you will NOT regret it! I found Becky on Thumbtack in October and the last three months have been incredible. I am stronger, have fewer aches and pains and have lost weight while gaining muscle! She is knowledgeable and professional in every way—from the planning that she does before each workout to talking about supplementation and food choices to helping with the mental part of the process to just being on time and ready to go without distractions. She is an incredible trainer with so much experience, as a coach and as a personal trainer. She has an awesome, upbeat coach vibe which is tough but encouraging always giving modifications but pushing at the same time. She believes in you, and each time you push past where you thought you could go she’s there to celebrate with you and create the NEXT thing that you need to push past! EVERY single workout is different. I have been with her for three months now, three times a week, and we have never repeated a workout. Because of her preparedness, the workouts always challenge me and I can see change. And so can others! I am down 10 pounds, 7 inches and 3% body fat overall and my strength and stamina have skyrocketed! I feel so strong, inside and out! I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone!

    Becky was a great trainer she helped me stay motivated and continues to do so. I'd definitely recommend her to a friend. I lost 15 pounds working out with her 3 times a week. She'll definitely push you to your limits. She's very considerate and will work with you when it comes to scheduling work out times and payments. My body never got used to the work outs, she had something fun and new each time. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely hire her again

    If you're looking for a personal trainer, LOOK NO FURTHER!!
    Where do I even begin? Becky is an all out fitness super star who knows her stuff and can articulate her knowledge perfectly to even the most beginner of beginners, like myself. With her awesome combination of upbeat encouragement, a deep understanding of what the human body is capable of, her bubbly personality, her willingness to answer any and all questions you might have, and her ability to craft tailored plans for her clients each and everyday, Becky is a powerhouse of a trainer and I wouldn't recommend anyone else. I hired her through Thumbtack and was given 10 other fitness training options in my area, boy am I glad I decided to choose her! Her rates are extremely affordable and the results are to die for. I only train 3 times a week at half an hour increments and I've already received tons of compliments about my emerging new body, and I've only been training with her for a few months! If you're willing to give her your all, she WILL help you achieve your goals. No doubt about it.

    I started working out with Becky just shy of two months ago. Already, I have seen a huge improvement in my strength, endurance, and muscle tone. I broke my arm a year and a half ago snowboarding, and was barely able to do 3 push ups afterward since I lost so much strength and mobility. I'm also a RN, and performing CPR when I needed to became painful and a difficult task after healing from my break. In just two months of working out with Becky, I've gained total strength back in my left arm, never have any pain anymore, gained more muscle tone in not only my upper body, but my lower body as well. I don't huff and puff with cardio anymore and am able to push my body to its limits under her direction. It's made me realize that I can push myself a lot harder when I go to the gym by myself, too. I work out with her three times a week and have found that I am totally committed to it now. Becky makes working out fun and I look forward to each and every one of our sessions. She pushes me hard each time to show me my potential, changes up the work outs each time to work all the muscle groups, and is incredibly flexible and easy to work with. I will definitely be renewing my contract with her after my initial 3 month contract is up!

    Becky is absolutely amazing! She truly cares about all of her clients and will work with you to achieve your goals. I have my training sessions three times a week for one hour and choosing her as my trainer has been the best thing! I have already seen results and it's only been one month since we started this healthy lifestyle. Becky helps me with letting me know what to eat and what not to eat which helps me maintain my diet. She's such a great motivator and coach. I am so glad I chose her over anyone else to be my trainer!!

    Enjoying the heck out of my workouts. I never do the same workout twice which for me is great. I am never bored! Becky makes sure that I am challenged but not over-faced for every workout. She always gives me options/modifications on new moves so that I can get the most out of the exercise. And she has been fantastic at working with my schedule. I can feel a huge difference in my strength in just the first month I have worked with her.

    I have never looked forward to working out until I started to work with Becky. I feel like I only spend 5 minuits with her we have such a good time together. She is a great coach and really understands what you need and or are going for in your workout goals. I talk about her to my friends the way I usually gush about my kitten. I REALLY love my workouts with her!

    I wanted to share my story regarding results I have seen since working out with Becky. In Feb 2011 I had to have major surgery. Before my surgery I was 110 lbs. I have always been small and never had any trouble losing or maintaining my weight. That changed after my surgery. Within a year I gained 15 lbs. Which doesn't seem much to the average person but it was huge to me. I have worked out with 3 other personal trainers and did not see the results I have seen with Becky. Within 2 1/2 months of working with Becky I am back down to my pre-surgery weight. I never thought this would happen. I had come to terms with being larger than I have ever been my entire life. Becky's encouragement, energy and the balance between cardio and weights is what made the difference between the other trainers that I have used. I have told everyone I know about Becky and the results that I have seen. I have used 3 other personal trainers and Becky by far is the best. She is very comfortable to be around and I have already learned several new techniques. She combines cardio and strength training in a way that you do not really know you are doing cardio, which is my least favorite. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone is experienced and knowledgeable in personal training.

    I had a WONDERFUL time with Becky! I needed to gain weight, build my butt, and gain some strength. Becky helped me do that and more. I gained at least ten pounds and now I am on the track to gain more. I would recommend her to anyone! She was more than a trainer with me. She took a real interest in me and I'm proud to now call her friend. She was very encouraging, but tough and really pushed me. I know I made the right choice when I picked her.

    A true fitness expert -- she has a lot of energy and is creative with her workout plans (no equipment required). Becky is very motivating during our workouts and will hold me accountable for the time I am not with her also. I have hired her on an open-ended contract, long-term.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is based on the following factors: duration of training session, number of people being trained in session (1:1 or more than 1 person?), how many weeks/months client is willing to train, if I travel to client or they travel to me.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once hired: Evaluate/discuss client goals and at first session get their physical measurements (body fat, BMI, etc) if they choose to do so.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology (Univ. of North Texas) - 4 year scholarship athlete (volleyball) at the Univ. of North Texas - 20 years as a high school coach (volleyball, basketball, softball, track) - NASM certified personal trainer since 2014
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up playing all sports so fitness has always been an important part of my life. I love the feeling that working out gives me, as well as being physically strong- it's very empowering. The great thing is....no one can EVER take exercise from you- there is always a way to do it.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Male (teens) and females ages14-66. All fitness levels- beginner, intermediate, advanced (former college athletes). People who have never stepped foot in a gym/workout facility and also people who strive to be figure competitors.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my clients wanted to lose 15 pounds in 4-6 months- she achieved that goal. She also lost 4% body fat. Very proud of her
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be ready to work hard if you truly want results!!! If it was an easy road, everyone would do it! But the results are SO WORTH IT!! Being a trainer is fantastic, however we have a unique and sometimes difficult job in that we have to put our clients through some of the most uncomfortable times they have ever experienced in their lives! The results one gets from working out are AMAZING and PIVOTAL but the actual ACT of working out is not pleasant! It's hard! Some people have never worked out or been active in their entire LIVES, until they hire a trainer! So we have to figure out ways to keep our clients motivated, and at the same time help them produce the results they want. Sometimes that's a challenge, but I wouldn't change it for the world!
