I believe the proof of the teacher's ability to teach shows up in both the skill and love of playing the instrument by the student. How far you will go depends upon how much you put into the practice time at home and into getting all you can from each lesson. I love seeing a child's face light up when they realize they can play a certain song! That look of confidence, accomplishment, and pride at having worked hard and reaped the reward says it all.

Marie is very patient and kind with teaching my 7 yr. old daughter piano lessons. She is a beginner and Marie makes her feel comfortable and offers a lot of encouragement.

My daughter has been taking lessons for over 5 years from Ms. Marie, and it has been a delight to watch her grow both in her in piano playing skills as well as her confidence. Ms. Marie's style of teaching is the perfect balance of structure and flexibility. I love how she has taught the core concepts, allowed for stylistic changes when her students needed to switch gears, and even encouraged the kids to use their knowledge to compose their own music. What I love most is that my daughter is still excited to go to lessons each week.

Ms. Marie is an excellent piano teacher. She pushes her students to the best of their abiities. Our daughter have been under her for almost 2 years now and we have noticed a very good improvements with her abilities in playing the piano.

I have taken with Marie for two and a half years now, as an adult student, and have loved every bit of it! Marie is professional, extremely experienced, and on top of that is so sweet and patient. Put your fears aside, and do this - for yourself or for your child! It will be a gift to you.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I am a single mother and I sort of fell into it as a main source of income. I had taught for years but when it came time to support the family with young children, it was something that I could do that worked for my family and that I loved as well!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I am so proud of my students that have won talent shows, and those whose skill has helped them further their education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Fort Worth.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would look for someone with experience teaching. Performing and teaching are two different aspects and one does not guarantee the other success.
