I graduated from The University of Texas School of Law, which is the highest-ranked law school in Texas and is a tier-1 law school in the United States. During my time there, I scored in the top 5% in my first-year criminal law class and received the highest grade in the class in my federal criminal law class. Prior to law school, I worked at Hewlett-Packard.
Shortly after earning my law license, a friend of mine asked me if I wanted to second-chair a felony jury trial. I jumped at the chance and really liked the experience. Eleven months later, I decided to start my own practice.
