FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have one-size-fits-all fees; I set my fees on a case-by-case basis according to the circumstances. I do offer payment plans for most types of cases, as well as a 10% discount for payment in full upfront.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is essential for me to meet with a new client face-to-face if at all possible. I need to know the details of your case or situation and some information about you and your criminal history (or lack thereof) before determining how best to go forward. I also think it's very important to form a relationship of mutual trust.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I earned my undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Texas. I have been working as a criminal defense attorney for the entire time I have been licensed as an attorney. I have handled many, many DWI cases and other types of misdemeanor-level charges, as well as most types of felonies. As a law student, I also had internships with the Houston Police Department Crime Lab Review Panel, the U.S. Attorney's Office in Honolulu, the Travis County District Attorney's Office, and the Travis County Office of Child Representation.
