My project with Renovate 512 was to build an oversized garage with attached office and workshop. I met with James and was impressed with his straight-forward approach and professionalism and so we embarked on this adventure together. The time frame was estimated to be about 3 months, but not so.
For those of you who have never done extensive remodeling or new construction, beware…no matter how well planned, something always pops up. This was my 4th project and so I expected a bump or two along the way.
What can I say, we bumped, but through all the twists, turns, and bumps, James had my back. He fought to keep this project moving forward, even when outside forces were not on board. He promised he would see it through to the end and to my satisfaction. He kept his promise. I have had my fair share of contractors who walk when things don’t go smoothly or when I get fussy (polite wording here), but not James.
I also must give a shout out to his office team lead by Trista. They were always responsive and polite (and believe me I could make a saint cry!). My appreciation goes out to you and your staff.
Finally, once again, I want to thank you, James, for sticking with me and easing my frustrations and worries. If I am ever crazy enough to do something like this again, I will be calling.

Details: Permits pulled • Garage • New custom construction • Yes, load-bearing structures are involved • 1,500 - 2,000 sq ft • Home

Karen, thank you so much for taking the time to write such a thoughtful review. This project definitely gave us a few more twists and turns than any of us expected, but seeing it through and making sure you were happy with the end result was always the goal. We take a lot of pride in standing behind our word, especially when things don’t go exactly according to plan, so your comments about James commitment to the project mean a lot. And from all of us in the office—thank you for the shoutout! We know there were plenty of frustrating moments along the way, and we truly appreciated your patience, communication, and sense of humor through all of it. Most of all, thank you for trusting Renovate 512 with such a large project. It was certainly an adventure, but one we’re grateful we got to take with you. And if you ever do decide you’re “crazy enough” to take on project number five, you know who to call! Thank you again for trusting our team and for sticking with us through every bump along the way. We hope you enjoy your new garage, office, and workshop for many years to come!

James and Ruben with Renovate 512 were AWESOME to work with. They installed two decomposed granite patio areas in our backyard. We wanted a rustic, natural feeling yard, so we looked for an alternative to concrete. The decomposed granite was a perfect fit for us. They got the job done in 2 days, and left no trace of a mess. Very satisfied with the job they did and would recommend to anyone else!

Details: Complete renovation like replacing soil or hardscape services • Patio - pavers or stone • Back yard • No, one-time project • Home

We recently used Renovate 512 for several home projects, both indoors and outdoors. We can’t say enough good things about their work and the way they handled things. James came out within a day of us contacting him. He was very knowledgeable, extremely professional, very fast to respond and get his workers out to begin the work. The work was completed quicker than estimated.

The work included repairing cracks to the limestone blocks on the exterior of the house. They matched the mortar exactly and it all looks brand new. They also did major repairs to an exterior door, fixed an interior door, replaced floor trim around flooring and several other jobs. We can’t say enough good things about Juan, who did much of the work and Renovate 512. They will be our first call for future projects. Great company!

I would highly recommend Renovate 512! From our very first conversation to the very end, each interaction was very professional, considerate, and helpful. James, Troy and their team made recommendations and suggestions that were genuinely in our best interest to give us the highest quality and sustainable product (we had them redo our large front gate of our house).

It was truly a pleasant experience working with this company, we are looking to hire them again for another house project.

Details: Home • Replace fence or gate • Wood • Less than 50 feet • 5 feet • No fence obstacles exist in the work area
