The Lucky Strikes

Introduction: The Lucky Strikes is a full-time professional lounge, swing, and jazz band based in Austin, TX. Having been together for over sixteen years, they specialize in vocal and jazz standards from the '40s and '50s, as well as original tunes written in the same style. Their selections include many favorites by Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Tony Bennett, Chet Baker, Count Basie, and Duke Ellington. With three CDs released, the band has toured throughout the U.S.A and Canada, performing in almost every state. The Lucky Strikes can be found weekly at local jazz clubs and restaurants. Their music combines the class and style of the '40s and '50s with the youthful energy of a real working swing band!
