Most magic shows ask you to suspend disbelief. Umy's asks something harder: to confront the fact that your perception is already broken and enjoy it.Beautiful Lies is a one-man theatrical card show built on classical sleight of hand. Just Umy, a deck of cards, and an audience that consistently cannot explain what just happened in front of them.The craft is exceptional. The storytelling is what separates it. Each sequence is framed around a question about perception, reality, and what we choose to believe. That sounds heavier than it is the show is genuinely fun, interactive, and moves well. But there's a through-line that gives it weight most magic shows don't bother with.You will laugh and be amazed.
