About
I am returning to active practice after many years of experience as a therapist and counselor. While my former profile with many successful and satisfied clients is being rebuilt, my commitment to quality care remains the same.
In over three decades of practice, I’ve worked in psychiatric units, mental hospitals, small private clinics, and community-based settings. I provide marriage, family, and child therapy, as well as support for a wide range of psychiatric concerns. I also offer teletherapy, which has become a valuable option since the pandemic.
I am fully respectful and sensitive to each person’s values and background, and I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space for every client.

We had our first counseling intake with William, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The appointment was scheduled for an hour but ended up lasting about an hour and 20 minutes because he took the time to really listen to both of us.
William was very professional, respectful, and made sure we both had an opportunity to speak and feel heard. He asked questions that helped us recognize some things we’re both doing that we need to work on if we want to build a healthier and stronger relationship.
We left feeling like we had gained a better understanding of each other and had some real things to work on moving forward. We’re looking forward to continuing counseling and seeing where this journey takes us. Thank you, William, for creating such a comfortable and honest space for us.

After just my first time speaking with Dr.Hawk I found so much insight to myself and things that I do and something’s that I need to work on. He’s extremely knowledgeable and friendly about everything we spoke about and had me comfortable with opening up about what was truly going on.
