FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every business has a different number of accounts, transactions, employees, and months of history, so we price the actual work instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all estimate. Monthly bookkeeping is generally quoted as a recurring monthly fee. Cleanup and catch-up work is priced separately as a defined project, and payroll pricing depends on factors such as employee count, pay frequency, work states, and the level of support needed. Your written proposal will clearly explain what is included, the expected timeline, RLC Premier’s fees, and any software or third-party costs that are separate. If the scope changes, we discuss it with you before additional work is added. The initial consultation is free.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free conversation about your business, what is working, what is taking too much of your time, and what you need help with. We then look at the details that affect the work, such as your bookkeeping platform, accounts, months involved, payroll setup, deadlines, and current records. If we are a good fit, you receive a written proposal with the recommended scope, responsibilities, timing, and pricing. Once everything is approved, we complete secure onboarding and request access through official platform invitations. We will never ask you to send passwords or sensitive financial information through ordinary text messages or email. From there, we keep the work organized, communicate about questions or missing information, and provide the reports, completed work, and next steps included in your agreement. You communicate with the same people responsible for the work, not a rotating sales or support team.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Rebecca brings more than 18 years of hands-on experience in bookkeeping, business management, and day-to-day company operations. Rebecca and Matt are Certified Intuit ProAdvisors. Matt also maintains advanced QuickBooks Online, Xero Professional Level 2, and Gusto Payroll credentials. We believe training matters, but so does knowing how the work fits together in a real business. Our approach combines current platform knowledge with careful review, clear documentation, practical communication, and an understanding of how bookkeeping and payroll affect daily operations.
