FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I provide flat fees. If your item is not listed I am happy to give you a quote please just describe it in detail. Most document preparation is $300+ depending on how complicated. Due to the pandemic, I am working fully remotely via phone and video call. This means that all of my estate planning documents, aka wills and trusts are delivered in a way that they can be self executed without me present. For this reason my prices are discounted from their normal pricing. My estate plan pricing is as follows: (This may vary depending on how complicated the documents/ assets are, but serve as general pricing) For 1 person: Will- $450 Living Trust: $900 for 2 people (couple) $1200 I also offer a full estate plan package for a single person that includes 1. Will 2. Medical Power of Attorney 3. Durable Power of Attorney 4. Guardianship of Person 5. Directive to a Physician 6. Disposition of Remains 7. HIPPA Release 8. Hospital Visitation for $900 (It is usually $1100). (I suggest the package as it serves as a Will and Living Will and beyond and provides a comprehensive plan to anticipate any situation). *these prices include counseling, document preparation, revisions, 1 on 1 time, video chat, phone chat and advising on the self execution of the documents.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I generally set up a free 15 minute phone consultation to discuss pricing, what services I will provide and next steps. Once we decide to work together I then send a retainer agreement via docusign for the client to sign regarding representation, agreed upon services and price. I require payment before moving forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon. I am a licensed Texas Attorney. I am also a licensed Texas real estate agent.
