Jeana started with my business approx 6 weeks ago. She contracts out her friend to help her do contract work for several small companies. She was not transparent about this until a month into our arrangement when issues arose. She runs this business, in addition to her full time job, stretched beyond her capacity. Despite, graciously offering Jeana 2 weeks “off” at the start due to her personal issues, she did not prioritize my business upon return. As a retail start-up, I’m sure you can imagine how this has negatively impacted my holiday sales. Her friend has zero admin experience, not proficient in basic skills. Every other day, she is sick or has family issues. I had to go through Jeana to even access her, as if I work for Jeana. Both of them no-show to meetings (that are just once per week), don’t respond to messages for days, and don’t adhere to deadlines. Yet, she sends me an $800 payroll invoice for doing one uncompleted sheet of data entry. She charges $30 / hr, not $20 as stated fyi. I have never written a bad review on anyone. Sometimes, it just isn’t a good fit and that’s ok. But this experience was intolerably unprofessional and damaging to my business.
