- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised in construction work and it comes natural. Although I spent some time working in Best Buy and Apple for a few years in the past, I find myself happier and more content working in construction and handyman services. It's simply what I do best and I enjoy it. I also enjoy working with home owners and helping them to accomplish many different things. Not much has changed since I was a kid, I guess.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't shop by price alone. More often than not, the cost of redoing a project that was done incorrectly will cost the home owner up to 3 times more than simply doing it right the first time. Always do the job right, regardless of cost. It will save you money in the long run.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
What end result are you looking for? This will help as the professional will know exactly what needs to be done. Otherwise corners will be cut and the end result will never be accomplished.
