- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Understanding they're needs and wants. Often, I take the time to explain the process if needed and help them visualize the end result. I offer my experience in budgeting to find the balance between what they can afford and their imagination.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started because my stepfather insisted that we do the work ourselves. I learned a good work ethic and familiarity with tools at a young age. I find this type of work uses both sides of my brain and is quite rewarding.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure they have pictures of past work and respond quickly. perhaps hire them for a smaller project first before larger ones to see there work. Don't offer a large deposit! A deposit should be for materials needed for the job. Ask for receipts!
