Introduction: Hi my name is Jackie! I have been teaching swim lessons to all ages for more than 15 years. I worked as a lifeguard for many years at waterparks, I am CPR and First Aid Certified. I enjoy helping kids become comfortable in the water and learn how to swim. I have a step-up program of skills that we work through. I also incorporate pool/water safety skills to maximize water safety. Kids learn how to swim best when they are relaxed and having fun. My lesson plans incorporate a lot of games and activities that most kids wouldn't consider 'work'. I also love it when parents and grandparents take interest in the program and I am more than happy to share these games for everyone to practice all summer long.

Jackie is great. She is wonderful with my 4 year old daughter. We just started lessons but I can already tell what a great instructor Jackie is. I also really appreciate her excellent communication as well!

I would choose all of the options above if I could! Jackie is fantastic with my son. When we first met her he was scared of the water but after lessons with Jackie he has more confidence and improves his swimming each time. Jackie is always calm, kind and patient but firm in the techniques she teaches. She has taught him water safety so that not only he doesn't freak out around water but his Mom is more comfortable with his swimming not too. My son loves Miss Jackie - 10/10

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
30 minute session (1 kid) = $60 Additional kid in session = $20/person I try to keep class sizes small and they must be at similar swimming abilities. If you are unsure of your situation please let me know and we can discuss. Summers are always crazy so I try to be as flexible as possible. The first no show is free and the second is full price if you want to continue lessons. All I need is a heads up that things changed as soon as you know. Obviously weather, sickness and emergencies are excluded from this.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
All sessions start off with a quick skills test to see where we are starting from. Then we will jump into the training program based on their current skill level.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taught swimming lessons for years to adults, children and special needs.
