Highly recommend Double D Dog Training! We loved that Dean came to our house since our English Doodle, Cooper, was only 8 weeks old and didn’t have all of his shots yet. We all learned so much and had so much FUN! We looked forward to each lesson! All of Dean’s recommendations for toys and games were spot on for mental stimulation and releasing some puppy energy. We did Puppy and Advanced Training. Best decision ever! Now Cooper is a well behaved 14 month old that sits for pats, waits at the door/gate until I tell him it’s ok to go. He sits for cars to pass on our walks and is great on the leash. He is non reactive when 3 dogs charge the fence on our walks. Thanks Double D for helping us set a great foundation to have the best relationship with Cooper!

My German Shepherd Freya recently has become very startled with people. She barks like crazy sometimes lunges and I didn’t know what to do for the longest time. I decided to hire Double d dog training and he taught me how to teach freya all the basic obedience training and how to redirect her when she barks at people. And I’ve been working with her every single day for the past two weeks such a different dog now. Huge improvement with people, her and I have a better connection, and now she knows obedience commands. Highly recommended!

We just completed a 4 day dog training session with our 10 month old maltichon Maisie. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family. Dean is very patient, both with the dog and the humans. 😊. He definitely “speaks dog”. Maisie really engaged with him and was always excited when he came over. We loved having the training in our home- it made it feel very specialized to our dog and her needs. Dean uses positive reinforcement training and it works! We saw improvements in her behavior right away. She will now wait at the door before we open it to either greet a guest or go outside. She is also learning not to jump on people when she sees them. All 4 paws need to be in the floor! We continue to reinforce the commands she learned with Dean and she is doing great! I highly recommend Double D Dog Training. Dean is very professional, punctual and is a great communicator- both with dogs and their humans!

This is Hank aka Hankie! Before Dean came he hated his crate, barked all night long, used the potty inside, and jumped on our guest. We definitely needed help. After numerous reviews on several companies we decided to give Dean a call. After the first session he was already a different pup and he already learned commands. The first night after dean came we actually were able to go to sleep with very limited barking. After the second session his barking stopped all together, and he even enjoyed his crate. Four sessions later he knows so many commands, he loves his crate, and he’s potty trained! My husband and I made the right choice to go with Dean. His experience and his teachings taught not only Hank but us as well. Thank you so much Dean! We definitely appreciate everything you did for Hanky! I’m sure he’s gonna miss the man with all the treats ❤️

Dean came in to help my new puppy, Chief with basic obedience. It was a great experience for Chief and I. Chief now understands basic commands! During trainings, he made sure I understood everything as well. My mom was there for a couple sessions and he made sure to include her as well! Our last session, we had some fun with my little cousins while Chief still learned and had fun! Overall, great experience with Dean and his training :)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will schedule an initial phone consultation to understand the specific needs and requirements they are looking for their dog training. Following the initial consultation we will schedule a mutually agreed up day and time for the 4 session dog obedience training package.
